SONGS from CAPE COD

REQUIEM FOR PAUL

Paul was great!
Curved, limited, Paul!
What could be done

Paul’s heart of work
Staffed as Earth
Helping Paul…

I’M THE PILL YOU’RE THE TINY PILLS IN THE CLEAR HALF OF ME

You’ve lived in her heart
Thirteen years, you’ve actually

So sad
So sad but it’s not

And there’s part of you
Small part
But she grabbed your hand

And there’s no guarantee that
That happened

THE PASS

In the pass they met
She in black beret with pigeon strips
A four-gown visual weight
He a white sleeve floating over a blow
Sort of heater
Impressing potentialless travel

Are you warming?
Warm’s hard for such a thin thing

She flapped up a layer, tell me minister
Why float all night in this covered pass
Than rattle off at the moon
The tune

People are small
This is incredible
